3. Permissions and How They Are Used

3.1 JAKA POS Desktop and Jaka Mobile

  • Internet: required for login, licensing, cloud sync, and service communication.
  • Network discovery / local network / hotspot / Wi-Fi: used to detect and communicate with devices on the same local network, including waiter mode host discovery and same-network connectivity.
  • Storage: used for local data handling such as app configuration, cached operational data, saved invoices, and files needed for app functionality.
  • Printer access: used to detect, connect to, and print to supported printers.
  • Bluetooth: used to discover and connect supported Bluetooth printers and peripherals.

3.2 Zatca Invoice Scanner (com.jakacloud.zatcainvoicescanner)

  • Camera: used only to scan QR codes locally on device. Camera content is not used for unrelated processing.
  • Internet: used to send the scanned QR value to our server for validation and to return validation results to the user.
